Ever opened your IG account just to compare followers with your friends?
Don’t worry. Most of us have been there, and it’s perfectly fine. Something about seeing just how many people are interested in your life – even if it’s in numbers – is just plain satisfying. There’s a lot more to Instagram than just validation, though.
Social media is networking, and Instagram is one of the best apps to use for that. An account and some basic work to establish it is a free platform for advertising. You won’t exactly need an obscenely high follower count to do that, but it sure as heck helps! Joe Gagliese, co-founder of Viral Nation with Mathew Micheli, mentioned that even modest micro influencers (influencers in the 1-100k follower count range) can earn upwards of a few thousand dollars on their posts alone. He also notes that what brands look for in influencers is engagement. It doesn’t matter how large their follower count is if no one’s actually interacting with your page’s content.
These two factors are pretty much the defining terms of Instagram influencers (and profit). We’ll expand on both of them here.
This is what defines your IG account’s “weight class”. Starting up, you’ll want to push for nano influencer (under 1k followers). It’s pretty manageable to start up if you’re in a good, social-media heavy crowd. If not, you could actually buy enough followers to hit that number, but we’ll get onto that later. Micro influencers are a cut above and tend to get popular on specific topics. Brands will want you because you have just enough influence to boost them but not enough to charge the exorbitant fees of people higher up the chain. This is an ideal position to aim for, and you could comfortably make a living in this follower range.
Up the pyramid are macro (under 1M) and mega influencers (1M+). Macro influencers tend to be where internet-based personalities peak while retaining their account’s direction. Mega influencers aren’t actually that great – the exposure is obscene, but so are the fees. They also have too diverse a following to really sway followers to their line of thinking. They’re essentially well-paid microphones. And these people could easily charge upwards of 1M USD for a single sponsored post.
Basically, the sum of your likes and comments divided by follower count. Follower count defines your weight class. Engagement determines your success and standing in that class. It’s the reason why brands and sponsors should pick you over others.
There are more than a few ways to improve this, and they’re pretty easy to do.
Instagram story stickers are one of the more effective ways out there. Ask a question or set a poll, and see people flitting to share their own thoughts and opinions. It’s a great source for both community interaction and feedback, and it’s as simple as posting a daily story and setting a sticker tag.
Also, feel free to make use of mentions. Shout-outs tend to be mutually beneficial, and your follower communities are bound to overlap and improve with whatever or whoever you’re mentioning. Hashtags are also great for dipping your toe in other huge groups as well, and pretty soon your modest fanbase will turn into a full-blown network in no time flat!
It used to be that social media and content platforms could develop those levels of followers, subscriptions, and community organically, but the market has just gotten way too bloated to bank your success on that alone.
It’s not illegal, I promise. But it is a violation of IG terms and services. There aren’t any real repercussions for doing it, legal or otherwise. The only real risk is a bad engagement rating and plummeting follower bases once IG gets back to deleting zombie accounts – pretty crappy, all things considered, but you won’t be going behind bars for it. That just means you’ve got to be more careful picking where you could buy followers from.
You need to make sure that your follower count development looks natural. While fast turnaround times seem nice, bulk follow count inflations would stick out like a sore thumb – and IG will come down on it (and you) like a hammer. The profiles also need to appear natural, or the previous problem will rear its ugly head. A long-lasting retention policy is needed as well, with most services offering 30-60 days follower count coverage. Lastly, the refund policies are a very important security net in case they don’t deliver (unlikely, but better safe than sorry).
Plenty of services out there offer followers. Few offer engagement – likes, comments, interaction, etc. A pretty bad investment, as all you’ll be paying for in most cases is a static number than just pulls down your engagement rating percentile.
If you’re looking for decent interaction, we at BuySocialMediaMarketing are an established presence in the market. Don’t let the bang-on name turn you off. We provide followers that act realistically and humanly on your accounts for extensive periods of time, reliable customer service for concerns, discretion in services rendered (if you’re feeling a bit nervous for “selling out” – the feeling is common for most first-timers), and most of all, safety: the only information of the account we need is simply your username and request that your account privacy be set to public for the duration of our service. Otherwise, we’ll have trouble continuing the process.
To avail of our services, just follow these short, simple steps.
Step 1: Visit our site at https://buysocialmediamarketing.com/
Step 2: Select the Instagram package you want.
Step 3: Input your account name (All the Instagram info we need). Add the package to cart.
Step 4: Put down your email for billing. We accept certain coupons as well.
Step 5: Fill out all the necessary billing information.
Step 6: Pick how you pay: credit card (VISA, Mastercard) or Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin)
From this point on, we’ve got you set.
All in all, you’ve just got to look out for actual interaction – the main point of influencers is influencing people. No one is gonna entertain someone with a thousand dummy accounts to their name over someone else with a modest, but tight relationship with their follower community. While BuySocialMediaMarketing won’t be replacing actual followers, we’ll be a good start to building your own presence and community on Instagram.
From there, success just snowballs with hard work and luck.
